If your team uses Microsoft Teams every day, you know how important it is for messaging to work smoothly. Even small frustrations can add up when you’re relying on a tool all day.
Microsoft Teams does a great job helping businesses stay connected, but a few common quirks have caused headaches for users over time.
The good news is Microsoft continues to improve the platform based on user feedback, and a couple of helpful updates are on the way.
One of the most welcome changes is the ability to choose what the Enter key does.
Many users have accidentally sent unfinished messages when pressing Enter to start a new line. Soon, you’ll be able to set Enter to create a new line instead of automatically sending the message.
Another useful improvement is the ability to forward multiple messages at once.
Previously, Teams only allowed users to forward one message at a time, which made sharing conversation context slower than it should be. With the new update, you’ll be able to select up to five messages and forward them together.
Both features are rolling out now.
These may seem like small changes, but for teams that communicate through Teams every day, they help remove small points of friction and make conversations flow more naturally.
